Alltel V9m flashed to Telus working on Verizon
I flash phones as a hobby. I have done many phones and this is my current creation. Alltel V9m flashed with Telus firmware to enable JAVA for free games and what not. MMS works, Internet works and even Video on the external screen. By flashing to another firmware other then Verizon you enable MANY MANY features. With this one you can view texts on the external screen, makes calls from the external screen and even view video on it.
Here is a video on the V9m in action with video on the external screen.
I can flash most any Motorola phone on Verizon to the Motorola UI, I don't charge a lot and turn around time is under a week. I have to test and make sure all services work. I have done the V9m, K1m, V3m, V3c, L7c but I can also do the Z6tv. There currently isn't a Moto UI for the W755, so I can't do that phone. If you want me to do it to any other phone please contact me. :D
FREE BT and Cable DUN on your Dare
I know a lot of people have been wanting to know about this, it's VERY simple to do and most people are paying a lot for the services anyway. They don't want to add on more charges to their bill, so here is a way to not add more fee's to your bill and be able to use your phone as a Modem.
Do these simple steps on your phone and when you are done go to the next video.
After you have done the above steps do this on your computer.
This video will prove that DUN works. I have turned off my airport and will connect my Dare via Cable as the speeds are much faster that way.

Making calls directly from your web browser on the Dare
I thought this was a cool concept, it may not be very efficient, but it works for those times you just don't want to exit your browser. You can make a call while still browsing, you won't be able to keep browsing while on the call, but I think you get the idea.
iPhone like webpage and icons for the LG Dare aka 9700
I have made these for a lot of people and they were very satisfied, it's just a place for them to have all their favorite sites in one place and not have to enter them each and everytime they want to visit that page.
Here is what it looks like on my phone.
If you would like one created leave me a comment or send me an email and we can work something out.
Backing up application on your LG Dare aka 9700
I know a lot of people don't like paying for an application every month, so here is a small tutorial on how to avoid paying the monthly subscription most people use it for VZNavigator, but it works for all applications that have a monthly subscription to them.
You have to download the PDF the follow this video and you should understand what I am talking about.
Browsing for files on your Mac directly from your LG Dare aka 9700
A lot of people have wanted to be able to browse/add/move files to and from their Mac to their phone, but don't know how. Here is a simple tutorial on how to start it out. First you need to do this and not have your device paired or it won't work. After you have done what I put in this video, you should be good to go to follow the next mini tutorial.
I am sure a lot of people already know how to pair your phone to your computer or vice-versa, but if you don't then here are some simple steps.
After you are paired you should be set to browse your Mac send/recieve appointments and contacts and other things. So follow this one after you have paired your phone.
FREE ringtones via iTunes
There is a simple way to create ringtones in iTunes. There is also audacity and other programs, but I figured it's much easier to use this since most people have iTunes.
If you need help or don't understand something let me know. It's pretty simple and straight to the point. But if you need anything leave a comment or email me :), ill be sure to get back as soon as I can.
Let's start with some Dare stuff.
I have not posted anything in my blog. I thought why not start now. There is a device out there called the LG Dare aka the LG VX9700, the carrier is Verizon and there is a lot you can do with it, including but not limited to ringtones, wallpapers, FREE DUN, backing up applications and other things. Here is a PDF of things I have compiled from various places, more of the stuff I came up with on my own from past phones and experiences.
Download the PDF HERE and let me know what you think.
I will make a new post with a mini video about each individual concept. I hope it helps someone out there. I know it has many others out there.
